Use Meteorology Argentina, an app that lets you view satellite and weather radar images of Argentina using publicly available information from the National Meteorological Service (SMN) website.

You can also check the weather forecast.

You can add a widget with your desired satellite image and have the cloud top temperature satellite image, as well as publicly available weather radar images from the SMN website, right on your screen.

Location information

To display weather alerts relevant to your location, the app may access your device's location.

This data is used solely to determine if there are weather alerts in your area.

If you do not wish to use location services in the background, you can disable notifications in the app settings.

Useful information

You will receive alert notifications whenever you grant location permissions and have enabled your phone's location services. The app receives a notification when alerts are updated and obtains your device's location in the background to determine if it is appropriate to notify you about new alerts in your area.

Meteorología Argentina collects some user location data, which is used solely for the app's functionality.

If you don't want location services to be used in the background, you can disable alert notifications and short-term notifications in your settings.

Widget

The widget image updates every 3 hours, or it updates immediately when you tap it, depending on image availability.

To add the widget, once the app is installed, press and hold on an empty area of ​​your device's home screen or use the widgets option. Then search for the "Argentine Weather" widget and add it to your screen after selecting the type of image you want to see.
